ERNEST RAY EVERETT- Biography

Ernest Ray Everett was born in Jackson, Mississippi and grew up in a small country neighborhood outside of Brandon, Mississippi. He has always loved music and has always dreamed of being on stage. Even at a very young age Ernest participated in local talent contests and was wellknown as a talented artist.
At the age of 11, Ernest began playing in piano and singing in church and played piano for numerous Southern-Gospel groups, (The Midway Quartet and The Singing Desciples) in the South of the USA.
At 15, Ernest was touring with an internationally known Gospel formation „The Steele Family“ the was founded by Jeff Steele, one oft he top entertainers in the US Gospel scene. During this timethe Band recorded a LIVE album with the title „Sunday Night Live“.
In 1994, Ernest released his first Rock solo-album, composing all songs and playing all the instruments, called „ All It´s Gonna Take“.
Afterwards, Ernest joined a Country Band named „Southern Pacific Line“ and had a tour in the US as well as Europe. This formation later became „Silverwood“ and won many awards and recognition throughout Europe as a top band.
In 2001, Ernest joined „The Cripple Creek Band“ which also won many music awards and recorded an all-original-song album entitled „Forbidden Love“
In November 2005, Ernest recorded his first County Album, also all original songs call „Not For Sale“ but this time Winfried Wohlbold played the Pedal Steel Guitar.
In 2004, Ernest started with the band „Stars & Bars“ playing keyboards, lead-singer and guitarist with Matt Wegener. Matt ist he founder of Stars & Bars. Stars & Bars not only have shows of their own but also have accompanied many Country and Rock stars from the US, Canada and Australia. Artists such as Deborah Allen, Andy Griggs, Wade Hayes, Brent Mason, Paul Overstreet, Billy Yates, Lonestar, The Bellamy Brothers and many more. Stars & Bars have become a wellknown band internationally and have won the hearts of many new friends and fans with their variety of music whether cover or original. Stars & Bars are still going strong and we love the stage and playing your choice of music at clubs and/or festivals.
In the meantime, Ernest has recorded 3 songs featuring Matt Wegener in Nashville and has also produced yet another original CD (Sky High) with Winfried Wohlbold on Steel and Peda-Bro.
The three songs that were recorded in Hilltop Recording Studios was produced by Mike Chapmann and featured many famous recording session musicians such as himself, Brent Mason, Larry Franklin, Matt Wegener among many more. His latest CD consists of all original songs plus an acapella version of Amazing Grace. The CD was entitled „Just Me“.
Ernest Ray Everett is inspired by everyday situations that everyone can relate to.

Er liebt Musik und träumt davon, auf der Bühne zu stehen.
Schon früh nahm er an Talentwettbewerben teil und war als talentierter Künstler bekannt.
Mit 11 Jahren war Ernest ein ausgezeichneter Pianist und spielte in verschiedenen Gospel-Gruppen im Süden der USA.
Als er 15 Jahre alt war, tourte er mit der international bekannten Gospel-Gruppe “The Family Steele”, die von Jeff Steele, einem der Top-Entertainer Amerikas, gegründet wurde.
Während dieser Zeit nahm die Band ein Live-Album mit dem Titel “Sunday Night Live” auf.
Ernest veröffentlichte sein erstes Solo-Album im Jahr 1994.
Er komponierte alle Songs und spielte alle Instrumente selbst. Das Rock-Album trägt den Titel “All It´s Gonna Take”.
Danach wurde er Mitglied der Band “Southern Pacific Line”, die später als die bekannte Country-Band Silverwood bekannt wurde. Sie gewannen viele Wettbewerbe und Auszeichnungen in ganz Europa.

Im Jahr 2001 trat Ernest der Band Cripple Creek Band bei und tourte in ganz Europa. Auch mit ihnen gewann er viele Preise. Sie produzierten ein Country-Rock-Album namens “Forbidden Love”.
Im November 2005 entschied er sich, solo weiterzumachen und veröffentlichte sein nächstes Solo-Album “Not for Sale”.
Ernest schreibt und spielt seine eigenen Kompositionen aber diesmal mit Winfried Wohlbold am Steel-Guitar.
Ab 2004 spielte Leadgitarre mit Matt Wegener und Hauptgesang mit Stars & Bars und hat viele Berühmtheiten begleitet auf große Bühnen querdurch Europa. Deborah Allen, Andy Griggs, Wade Hayes, Brent Mason, Paul Overstreet, Billy Yates, Lonestar, The Bellamy Brothers und viele mehr. Als Live-band haben Stars & Bars viele Freunde und Fans gewonnen durch ihre Vielseitigkeit zwischen Country Musik und Rock Auftritten. Ernest spielt immer noch bei Stars & Bars auf vielen Festivals und Veranstaltungen. Auch als Solokünstler ist er sehr viel unterwegs mit cover und eigene Songs in verschiedenen Länder in Europa
Dazwischen hat er 3 original songs aufgenommen mit Matt Wegener in Nashville und eine neu solo CD (Sky High 2010) nebenbei.
Danach wurden drei eigene Lieder in Hilltop Recording Studios, von Mike Chapmann aufgenommen, in Nashville Tennessee mit Mike Chapmann, Brent Mason, Larry Franklin, Matt Wegener und vielen anderen aufgenommen. Davon mit ein Paar andere eigene Songs inklusiv Amazing Grace (Akapella) ist seine CD „Just Me“ entstanden.
Er lässt sich von alltäglichen Situationen inspirieren, mit denen wir uns alle identifizieren können. Ernest sagt:
“Es gibt nichts Besseres, als zu wissen, dass einer meiner Songs jemandes Herz berührt”.
