story

Ernest Ray Everett was born in the heart of Southern Rock & Blues – in Jackson, Mississippi. His talent was supported by his family and also by his love for music and his dream to perform on stage. Already at an early age he participated in different talent contests and was well-known as a very gifted artist.

At the age of 11 Ernest was an excellent piano player and was singing with different gospel groups that were well known in the Southern United States. By the time he was 15 he went on tour with the internationally known gospel group “The Steele Family” which was founded by Bro. Jeff Steele – one of America’s top entertainers. This was also Ernest’s first experience with a band. A member of the band was also the nationwide known Country-artist Faith Hill who Ernest went to school with. During this time a live album with the title “Sunday Night Live” was recorded.

Ernest’s first solo album was published in 1994. He composed all songs and played all instruments. The title of the rock album is “All it’s gonna take”.

He then joined the band “Southern Pacific Line” which later became the well-known Country band Silverwood – that won many contests and awards all over Europe.

In 2001 he became a member of the band CCB and toured throughout Europe – also winning many awards. He produced a country-rock album with them called “Forbidden Love”.

In November 2005 he decided to go solo and produced his next solo album “Not for Sale”. This talented artist writes and performs his own compositions. He is inspired by everyday situations – situations every one of us can identify with. Ernest says “There is nothing better than knowing that one of my songs touched someone’s heart”.

It’s an art not wanting what you don’t have but to cherish what you’ve got.

Let this blessed artist, who can be booked solo or with band, take you to an unforgettable musical dimension.
